I voted yes, I think it should have one, if I'm being honest. But I don't want one, I think if we're just patient, eventually everyone will realise what the Septagon is...

No, no, no , and no. It wouldn't change anything, trust me.

Evidently? No, I don't think so.

Just look at the Underground. There is a sticky in all capitals clearly stating that Halo 2 threads do not go there. Yet there are still many Halo 2 posts there. The post has changed very little, if anything. Therefore, a similar sticky posted here would be useless. If people aren't going to glance over to the Forum box and see the descriptions then they won't look at any threads and will proceed to post regardless.

Even though i'd say yes, i still don't think it would help much. If people can't read the existing rules, they're not very likely to read the thread.

Unfortunately, it wouldn't help much. There is that one thread titled 'THIS IS NOT A HALO BOARD" in the Underground, yet there are always posts about Halo. Same with the Library as well.

No, I think the friendly reminders from the Septagon villagers suffice. Or await the wrath of the ninja.

Yes, but some 'villagers' get annoyed at the amount of times this happens.

Yeah, the only real way to stop it is to have people approving and rejecting threads before submitting. There's just not enough manpower at Bungie to handle that kind of load. So its up to us to show them them proper path, as repeatative as it is.

Yeah....threads like that don't really work....I put them one in my group, there's one in basically every group...but....basically nobody cares. It probably wouldn't work...it'd either get ignored, or people would read it and just not care enough.....as has been stated before.

I just put it in my signature. Hopefully, that may help a tiny tiny bit at least.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Doesnt matter, not many people advertise anyways. And when they do the rest of us know not to post there and to just let it die.

...It seems like a lot of times people just skip the stickies, because they might not have the newest replies, and go to the non-stickied posts...this happens a lot in groups, at least....

No. I don't like having so many stickies as is...Plus this forum is modded pretty heavily anyway.
