i like it but i think that the 360 is WAY underpowered considering how much halo 3 lags in the 1st place....... it could work on a new platform, i sugjest that it has a dedicated graphics card with 2 gb mem(if your wondering the curent xbox has a totol of about 512mb for the card and RAM) and 5gb RAM, with a processer thats maby a quad core 2 ( 2 processers with 4 cores;= to 8 processers) with blueray-dvd drive,games being blueray type(like the ps3) backwards compadable with 360 and ornginal games,bulit in blue tooth, usb, firewire, eithernet of corse, opinional bulit in wirer-less, virrus pertection, web surfable, and either a water cooling system or a tower fan like fan (to pump out massive amounts of air) i and many other people would probly be terafied at the price but for our sake i will not give my estiment......


Nice try, but although you might know some better components that COULD be added to the xbox, you are not a programmer. Halo 3, in fact, does not "lag" as much as people claim. The "lag" is in fact due to a poor connection by one or more people. Halo 3 does not have any dedicated servers, and therefore online gaming must have communication between each of the involved systems.

This would remain the same even if my idea was implemented. You are not a programmer, so you can not say that the programming itself would cause any of this "lag."

Yes. Instead of scripting the enemies, you just draw out a path for them to follow. You can either close the path, and make it loop, of you can make them go from point A to point B, and maybe back from point B to point A.

AI's don't have complex scripts to begin with. Normally, they have a simple code that basically tells them:

Find and try to kill the player while avoiding obstacles.

The only time when AIs are truly scripted in a complex manner is in campaign when the development team wants AIs to follow a certain path, etc. every single time.

But in forge the only script that would be needed would be:

-Shoot enemies
-Follow preset path

While I am not a programmer, I know how it works, and there is no reason for this not to happen.

To the OP, if need be, feel free to quote this in the OP so people can stop making up lousy excuses.

What if you could make so that the can get in vehicles and so they interact with the inviorment . I mean they did that with the halo 3 campaign so why not. They should also make it so that if there your allies you could use your mike to give orders.

I agree with this forum. Personally i enjoy making maps on the forge and i think this customisation would be a great idea. It would be fun to beable to create your own mini campaigns.

Possibly, but I would think vehicals took somewhat more scripting than ordinary A.I.s. Also, you could not have them go from soldier to driver. To many variables could prevent that change, and thus so many new variables for them to process. Maybe if they spawned in the vehical, but I just dont know.

I get what your saying but you would a option and you would make so that there a fast experienced driver or a inexperienced driver how drives slow. Who know it's bungie that decides if your idea can be put in the game and well I'm going to be in bungie because sent my application in and they accepted it

no and besides the fact that it sounds totaly stupid, wat u jus describded was a bot. but wat they cud do is make some of those pop-up targets, or even stationary ones, so u cud set up target practices, even better if there were scorable. and raceing checkpoints so that all these people who forge racing maps cud have a purpose. those are great ideas

I don't know why you are here then because if you don't like this idea then why are you here. So get out of here because we are making ideas. Besides bungie might take this into consideration from what I heard and this idea is not stupid it's brilliant. Also they already created those ideas. All you have to do is go into forge and you do that. Create map with those checkpoints and a racetrack and there you go a race is set up.They already created a scorable system. Just go to campaign and add score to free-for-all or team score.

i totally support this idea plus when you say it would be laggy with so many enemies it wouldent because when u play on campaign with four friends online its not that laggy so i thing it would be possible also the maps on campaign are very large compared to any multiplayer map

another idea would be a unique HUD for each helmet you unlock,for example the scout helmet would be a more narrow view but it would increase speed and security would be easier to get a head shot but the hud would be way larger.

I've had this idea forever, but I think there should be a much bigger limit like 50 grunts, 25 elites, or even more. It would be cooler if you could make your own mini level like add pods dropping out of the sky with elites bursting out.

I've got it. completely customizable firefight mode on steriods!!!

That was already part of the idea. It would be so cool if they also had an AI only team and an independent option for the AIs. I hope they have this in the game.
