Go Rams and Missouri!

They said that when they also thought it wouldn't be full priced. They've said numerous times that it has become much more ambitious than they ever imagined. I'd say the campaign will be 9+ hours.

Twitter!

It should be about nine hours.

  • 08.02.2009 4:38 PM PDT

i'm guessing like half an hour shorter, not much though.

The fight has been complete.... now get the cookies!

While we certainly share your enthusiasm for the return, we here at the Bungie.net community are mostly made up of snarky asses and jerks who will ridicule you for making a thread about something revealed months ago. We regret that your innocent intentions will almost certainly be replied with anger and sarcasm, and politely invite you to don your Flame-suit, because you just did the internet equivalent of jumping up the Construct lifts.

I personally think that it can be as long as you want it to be with free roam, and how long you want to take in the flashbacks. Especially with deaths. Then their is harder difficulties.

Okay, considering the time-frame they've had to develop this game, I'd say they're not doing too shabby for campaign-length.

Well, you assumed that I'd die...the thing is, I don't. I bet I'll beat Legendary Firefight in one life. And before you say it can't be beat, once my Xbox breaks because I was owning for so long, I will have beaten it by it Forfeiting.

$9.99

That's pretty good for 2 hours of music without explosions and people yelling. I don't care if you steal it, but God does...

Are you kidding? Halo 3's campaign wasn't 9 hours, and there is no way that ODST's will be longer.

yep, it's pretty good

although, bungie only had to make one giant level, and for the flashbacks all they did was block off certain parts to make it linear.

i'm not too surprised

The game has an open world aspect to it. So if you're like me, you'll take extra time to explore every little nook and cranny.

Why the hell don't people use meh?

I can help you there! See ODST is a free roam around so you can choose to explore Mombasa instead of charging down the missions and achievements i'll enjoy every single moment in ODST

odst isn't like halo 3, you havent played it yet and could be twenty times harder than halo 3. also, the AI in firefight are programmed very differently than the AI in halo 3.
