Show Faith/Defy Fate

Is it just me or did the Marines in Halo ce do a much better job of keeping up with you? They should return to this in Reach. Also do you want updated marine gear from the first Halo game or something original for this game?

Are you kidding me? The marine AI sucked in halo CE, besides the continual wear down of their health from friendly fire, plus enemy fire, they have a habit of throwing grenades at themselves, or even you occasionally.

I had a moment, on the T@R level on legendary in halo CE where one of the marine prisoners somehow threw a frag grenade near captain keyes, which of course sent him flying down the corridor, forcing a restart from a checkpoint.

Anyway, keeping Marines alive is a chore in halo CE, in halo 2, all you have to do is keep your marines from weilding RL's or Fuel rod guns, or letting them drive you anywhere outside the metropolis level.

Actually the marines in Halo 2 were the best to me. But in Halo 3 you get extra marines every 5 minutes.

Legends never die.

the marines should fly away and fight above you like your little birdy... and make you happy when the skies are grey... then we all kill the monsters and go back to the boats

How about we get some GOOD A.I.? Heck, F.E.A.R., a 2004 (right?) game has some of the most amazing AI I've ever seen in a FPS. Halo 3 has TERRIBLE A.I.

Posting on bungie.net should require that the user has had to have read a chapter book all the way through.

Agreed.

Look at Sgt Forge's armour from Halo Wars. It looks like the Halo 1 armour but WAAAAAAY more badass.

Halo 3 odst will have no marines following you at aal. their may be some running around on the map but the only guys that follow you are other odst's and only one or two.

Halo 3 has terrible marine AI. Not overall AI. I have heard countless reviews that marvel the enemies knowing of when to dodge grenades, or go on a suicide run, or run away knowing that they are defeated. If we had marine AI as good as enemy AI. Then the marines would be great.

Halo CE Marines were kick-ass
Halo 2 Marines were a lil less kick-ass
Halo 3 Marines...FFFFFUUUU-(sucked)

I do hope the AI for Marines in Reach improve, knowing that this is one of the most important battles ever. They're still gonna get slaughtered pretty badly in Reach LOLOLOL.
