I am the hand of fate!

At first I thought that the idea that all weapons should have headshot damage (extra damage for getting a headshot) would break the game... but I just don't like the idea of "headshot weapons". Any human bullet that hits a head where the play has no shields could be instakill-why do the BR and Magnum and Carbine have it, and none others? At least make it so you kill faster when a opponent has no shields and you hit them in the head. Also, maybe just make all headshots do a small amount of extra damage. Thoughts? I just hate the idea of not being rewarded for hitting the head... I think it could make automatic weapons a bit more useful, as well as reward aiming.

Headshot weapons are what make Halo games fun. But I agree, all weapons should have bonuses for headshots (i.e. 20 shots to kill with the AR on bodyshots, 10 to kill on all headshots), even the plasma rifle had it in Halo 1.

I like cheese more than you
Except Blue Stilton. That stuff is nasty. As is any cheese that contains stuff other than cheese

BR, Carbine, Sniper rifle, Magnum and Beam rifle do extra headshot damage. I dont think it ruins the game really. It would take multiple magazines to kill someone with the Magnum and possibly the carbine.

The idea of every weapon having headshot damage would only appeal to me due to the Plasma Pistol getting a damage boost somewhat, possibly being able to fourshot?

I now want a fourshotting Plasma Pistol....

The only weapons that have an actual bonus (I believe) are snipers-the other three are only called headshot weapons because they get a instakill if one of the bullets hits the head of an enemy when they have no shields. What I'd like to see is more weapons either have this ability, or for hitting someone in the head they take more damage regardless of their shields.

No this does not seem dumb. The actuality of even a SPARTAN super-soldier hitting someone in the head with a fully automatic assault rifle is pretty slim. So, if there was extra damage for hitting a player in the head, it would be a game of luck or attacking from above.

"They let me pick... did I ever tell you that? Choose whichever Spartan I wanted. You know me. I did my research. Watched as you became the soldier we needed you to be. Like the others you were strong and swift and brave, a natural leader. But you had something they didn't. Something no one saw but me. Can you guess? Luck."

Yes, I agree.

That would make halo that much more realistic.

Plasma and everyother weapon should have the same effect. All + head shot damage..

Mind you I don't think you will need + head shot damage when you hit some in the head with a rocket or a laser...

Defiantly believe that all weapons need some headshot bonus of some kind.

Well the idea is that the non headshot weapons would spread so it wouldn't matter.
