Subject: O.D.S.T. Fanmade Soundtrack

Hey guys. Just saying im thinking of composing a fanmade soundtrack version of possibly the O.D.S.T. ViDoc "Desperate Measures" based primarily on piano. Halo 3 had lots of generally soft or more complacent tracks mainly focused around the piano that was usually a refrain from another song or falling action after a songs climax. I have a good quality Piano, Acoustic and Electric guitar, mediocre digital audio engineering software, and my highschool band teacher may let me use his recording rooms. It may take literally like 3 months IDK because Im by myself and dont have a network of sound engineers to help me with this stuff and actually make it sound good. Im also borrowing various school percussion and ill try to put a youtube link to it once its finished. once again it may be longer than I expected. I also need some help with this, but any musicians out there that are percussionists know good, sharp staccato percussion instruments? Im hopind I can use FL Studio to make drum loops, and I dont really know which instruments I should use to get a sharp, quick, and short sound that generally doesent reverberate, Other than a snare or a high hat. Im talking something that sounds like toms but sharper and with less pitch kind of.

My troll sense is tingling.

There's quite a few fan-made soundtracks already, but if you're going to redo the ODST soundtrack that'd be awesome.

Sounds good, I'll can't wait to see/hear the end result
