You face an opponent who has never known defeat, who laughs in foreign tongues at your efforts to survive. This is Reply suicide.

Maybe it's a Banshee then. They have "two bits of light" on them. And they fly around at will.

I SERIOUSLY doubt it's a human ship of any kind.

Especially since pretty much all the ships are in orbit, trying to keep the Covenant from landing more troops than they've already landed. The only exception to this, was "In Amber Clad" which ferried SOME troops to the surface and carried Master Chief.

As for the ODSTs... Well, they came down in HEVs (which means that they had to "hot drop" and no ship or even pelican could ferry them in) with a mission of complete secrecy. Only Dare knows what the mission is, and she's ONI.

So, why would they even need to have Prowler or ONI ship to watch the area, when they were sending Dare, or had millions of troops already on the ground to begin with? All they'd have to do is listen to radio chatter with their BUILDINGS ON EARTH. Why would they need a ship when they have a base there? Or many bases all across Earth?

You seem to be forgetting that everyone who was originally in New Mombassa is either dead or has been evacuated so they might be gathering intel as to what the Covenant are up to. Also Banshees give off blue light, not orange light like the engines of a UNSC ship...

Well then, did you think about this?

The flames coming off the HEVs are the same glow as the human ships.

Although, I seem to remember human ships having Blue engines at some point...

However, it could just be In Amber Clad accelerating towards the Covenant Carrier.

Since, you know, it followed them into slipspace at the same time the HEVs started coming down.

Why is it that everyone jumps to crazy and illogical conclusions based purely on personal fantasy and fancy, rather than take facts into account and try to propose a more logical conclusion?

It could be, because it did say the UNSC Tokyo Rules was in the first battle of earth. Good find, this may be big.

-I was here

its a little too small to tell what it is. i wouldn't go jumping to conclusions about what it is. it could just be a random cruiser or space ship
