firefight is never ending
I think Firefight has 99 rounds so it's not endless.
Firefight is endless. It's done in sets of five waves in a round. With Brute chieftains as the last wave. Then the next five start, and goes on until you run out of lives. Does not get progressively harder, but just another random round.
FIREFIGHT IS NOT HORDE!
Firefight is based on a survival mode.
Horde is based on a survival mode.
All you idiots who think Horde is the first need to culture yourselves in video games.
Calm down seriously. No one in this thread has said horde was the first survival game mode, or that firefight is going to be just the same. The OP just wanted us to compare Firefight, a survival mode he is unfamiliar with, to Horde a survival mode he is familiar with, so that he may better understand the experience Firefight will offer. Also to all the people saying Firefight will be better, not only is this a matter of opinion but we don't really know because the game hasn't been released yet and the OP didn't even ask which would be better so it is irrelevant to the topic.
Are you aware of the amount of people on the ODST forum that believes Halo 3: ODST copied off of Horde? I'm pretty sure that that post was referring to those kind of people.
