That action is probably not healthy for you if you are receiving pain. My answer is to drink lots and lots of water. Guzzle down at least 2 cups at every meal, at the very least, but don't drown yourself. Your body should flush out anything in there due to the water. Water is able to break down almost everything, so it should clean out everything. And I hope you've learned your lesson.
Remember, the media may say that it is "healthy" and "natural", but you can only hurt yourself by -blam!-ing.
And another tip: Apply heat. That will relax all the muscles.
I don't think anyone wants to "apply heat" to their pole.
