My Internet has been often dropping out when playing Halo Multiplayer. I think it's because I don't have the right internet. I have a crappy dial-up internet. As I said, that's probably the problem. And of course, it annoys the hell outta me. On average, I only get about 3 to 4 people on multiplayer, if that! I can't have a real bloodbath with only 4 people. And it usually drops out before then! It gives me some s*** like "Network Connection Lost". Now, I'm hoping to get better internet soon. Will that solve my problem? If you have any solutions, PLEASE tell me. You can post it here and/or send it in a message to Phoenix2. Thank you.

yeah, i have dsl and i can host with up to 8 ppl with no lag, and 10 with little lag. it will fix it, when you have dial up servers and dial up clients the lag will be unbearable(4 ppl)
it might fix it if lack of speed is the problem!

The box does say broadband connection for hosting a server. What kinda DSL are you getting?

Dialup is meant to handle only 2 people total. For broadband, higher upload speed makes more of a difference when hosting than download speed. Most providers give you high download speeds with crappy upload speeds. Thankfully (kind of), my speed is the same both up and down.

and then there is the light bit of lag that always messes up your sniping. i'll see someone ways up have the cross hair right on em, fire, see blood fly out, but no it never realy hit him.

yeah i get that alot too.
my room gets the worst wireless signal so i drop out often and lag.
plus i think my service provider is dropping the speeds so they can make us buy the fiberoptic things (which, i want to )
