Title pretty much explains it all. Just say which game you think, in general, had the best soundtrack (and which had the worst) or you can go to my Playlist that I made when I was bored. It has almost everything from the trilogy. You can scroll down to the comments section if you want to see which songs are from which game.
These are my favorites/suggestions for Reach
Halo: CE
Opening Suite
Brothers in Arms
A Walk in the Woods (but with more emphasis on the guitar for the first half of a minute)
The Gun Pointed at the Head of the Universe
Devils... Monsters... (as it begins to become more upbeat)
Covenant Dance (possibly one of my favorites; if it was played at the same time as Halo it'd be epic
The Maw (Best monastic singing ever)
Drumrun
On a Pale Horse
The Long Run (Not my favorite, slight changes could make it better in my opinion)
Shadows (love the thing that starts at 0:08 seconds, makes me think of the flood. The guitar ruined it though)
"Halo" (Epic in every way. I want this EXACT clip in Reach)
Halo 2
Mjolnir Mix (Also completely epic)
Ghosts of Reach (Amazing)
Follow 1st (Its had a bit of criticism, but I think that until 1:40 it's great. One of the best guitar parts that I've ever heard)
Heretic, Hero
Impend I like all of it, especially after 1:10
In Amber Clad Especially after 0:36
The Last Spartan I suggest a skip from 1:01 to 1:13)
Earth City
Remembrance Definitely
[b]Unyielding #49 not 48. Sorry about that, accidentaly clicked on that one too
Halo 3
Infiltrate
Honorable Intentions until 0:35
Last of the Brave The beginning part of it is good, the latter part isn't as great
This is Our Land
This is the Hour Really like this one
Farthest Outpost From 0:40
Behold A Pale Horse
Three GatesI don't like the overused piano intro thing they had in the beginning of like 5 songs, but I like the beat after 0:15
Greatest Journey If you can find the right part for it
Never Forget Good if used in the right place
Alrighty then. 31 songs that I'd want in Reach out of 77 (#48 was an accident)
11 from Halo: CE and 10 from the other two.
My synopsis: Halo 3 had way too much piano, Halo 2 had a little bit too much electric guitar, Halo CE didn't have too much of anything, but didn't have enough electric guitar and piano.
