Been here 6 years, been blacklisted 6 times, that's why I'm not Mythic.
Taking this from an entirely objective point of view, I'd have to say Firefight. Why, you might ask. Because Horde is just frustrating. At times you're stuck searching for the final enemy, which is more often then not a stupid ass little gremlin (can't remember name) that gets itself stuck in some corner. You can't continue til it's dead.
Zombies is a good idea, yet I feel like it was executed poorly. I like the buying weapons and the increased difficulty, but there is such an exponential increase in difficulty it's ridiculous. The first couple waves are pretty easy, then it gets harder, then one round after a not-so-bad one, you're completely obliterated as the size and strength of the wave become literally unbearable. At this point you're out of ammo and can't get to a place to buy new ammo or find some. This isn't even late in the game, ending the fun early, forcing you to start over again. The beginning of zombies is beyond boring.
Now Firefight is a survival game mode like the others, but instead of having static waves, everything is completely random. You can not prepare for the next wave, making it more exciting and exhilarating. The way weapons are set up is logical and being able to handle the Covenant weapons means running out of ammo will not guarantee instant death. You have to risk your lives pushing down into the mobs forming to gather new weapons.
Of course this is all from the videos, but from them, and from playing both Horde and Zombies extensively, I feel that Firefight will be a new, exciting experience, better than the latter two gametypes.
