About me: I am a vicious wolf of a man.

But really am sweet at heart. =)

Well since Bungie is using a new engine for this game you should be able to play larger games. 32vs32 anyone? I've thought of a gametype utilizing this massive multiplayer experiance.

Both teams start off on a Frigate. Then are dropped in squads of 6-10 in Albatroses or HEV pods for single occupants. Also in the bays are Hornets, Pelicans, and Longswords.

The goal is to take down the enemy's frigate by destroying its armor. To do that you need to capture missle silos on the ground. There would be from 3-7 silos to capture on a map. Once the armor is gone the hanger of a frigate would open up. Then then enemy could go inside and destroy the reactor. Thus removing the other teams ability to spawn. When the last team member dies the other wins. Alternitavely a team could just hold all the silos and the Frigate would blow up anyway.

Yes I did rip off the Titan gametype from Battlefield 2142

I would keep in mind a few things about Halo.
Although this is Halo:Reach, and we know few things about it, It will probably have similar qualities to other halo games.
The idea you have behind a gametype similar to Battlefield 2142, would not be great in my opinion.
Battlefield is often more of a strategic field of play, where most players are more of a hardcore type of gamer. The game features qualities that suit more of a team required type of play.
Not saying that Halo:Reach couldn't be this, but I see Halo as a run and gun type of game. Halo can be, and have team games, but is still grounded enough to be able to play on your own, which in most case-scenarios, happens.
If you give the standard game of Halo 16 players, things start to become very uninteresting.
BUT, If Bungie were to make a game similar to Battlefield 2142, I wouldn't be too disappointed being a fan of the game myself.
What I would like to see in Halo:Reach, Is some sort of way the game encourages more of a teamwork attitude, where players are almost forced to work along side their Team, other than wondering off on your own.

Does anyone even read these?

Personally I would love Big Big Team Battle, 32 vs 32 would be epic win sauce with starwberry cream on top.

For your idea about destroying a Frigate... I don't think this would be any good sorry.

I Would suggest an Old School mode. 2x health, more jump hight, half regeneration speed, and maybe a little more speed. This would be good if it was in FFA, team, and BIG team
