In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

As soon as I get the game, the first thing I'll do it go home. Once at home, I will examine the package with an expression of awe on my face. After examining every crevice and minute detail, I will open the package, first removing the special edition controller (yes, I am referring to the special collector's edition). I will sync the controller to my Xbox, then look over the game. After an intimate examination of the cover and its contents, will pop in ODST and go to town on either Normal or Heroic. After I complete the first playthrough, I will go through again for achievements. After a couple days of campaign, I will look into the fire fight mode with some friends, probably go for some achievements while I'm at it. This same night will probably be the first time I try out the new Halo 3 maps and try for those last few achievements. After about 2 or three weeks, I hope to finish the Vidmaster Challenges, and get some recon. After 5 weeks (at max), I should have all the achievements. But I'll be damned if that stops me from playing ODST again and again and again!

Seeing as how I have school, and then I'll have a soccer game after school, I probably won't be able to play until 7:30 or so. So since I won't have all day to play the game, I might actually put in disc 2 and get the rest of the achievements for Halo 3 and then start ODST campaign the next day.

If I do that, it will be the first game ever where I don't play the campaign as soon as I get it.

were it so easy

im going to get the game then depending on if my good friends are online i will play campaign. if they are not i think i will just play the multiplayer and wait for them to get online. and finish getting those achievements on halo. but it is all a matter of wanting to play campaign with my friends.
