I'm a 24 year old real-life combat veteran. I use the gaming scene as a way to unwind, enjoying all the games I play. Most of my time is put into Halo 3. I love the game and the interaction of gameplay on matchmaking. So, you can see my excitement when I read about joining a clan that follows such high standards when playing. I constantly find myself hating the fact that I can't seem to find any decent allies to embark on a slaughter fest when teammates are overbearing, rude, and don't finish matches.. leaving me stranded. Being in a clan sounded like an excellent idea and the thought of having loyal allies to join with was very exciting.
However, when I registered with this clan.. and went to apply, I was informed that I needed to post a minimum of 10 forum posts on any forum chat. Now, I'll be the first to say, I'm not a blogger.. or a forum guy. I'm just an avid player of the game and want to be a part of something better than a group of socialists.. I'd rather not take on the ranks of masses alone. So, when I open the first welcome forum and promptly added 10 post.. thinking that surely this would qualify, an error came across my profile.
Quick Note: I had only been registered and started the application process less than 10 minutes prior on the clans site.
The error read "Spammer.. Ban to be raised: NEVER"
So you see... this said band of brothers.. this "loyal" clan that vows to hold such high honors and respect for all players banned me for life... merely on the grounds of my completion of the very task that would allow me to apply.
No email.. no warning.. no "hi, i'd like to know the real you and maybe thank you for my freedoms" Nope.. just got banned..
I'd like an apology.. which i'm probably not going to recieve, but in any case, I'd like to let my fellow gameplayers and patrons know what injustice I have recieved today.
Thank you for your time.. If you're serious about some Halo 3 gameplay, send me an invite.
