Imagine a game like ODST, but instead you are a spec OP's Elite, spying, and combat, a bit like as you played the arbiter in halo 2!

Post ideas and discuss.

I am part of a gaming group that is based off of the Elites, and Covenant Army. If you are a fan of Elites, message me. We have a group with good talent as well. We have a ranking system that works,(Do not confuse with stupid clan systems). It is used to show dedicated members.

PS: Don't even bother unless you are 13 or older.

That would be kinda cool

That's actually not a bad idea. I'd love to see the New Mombassa incident, or heck, anything from pre-separated Covenant in Halo 2 from the Elites' points of view.

  • 08.05.2009 3:59 PM PDT

Sounds cool, but I don't think I would pay 60 bucks for it though.

Who would you fight? UNSC? Marines get dominated by Elites so it would be strange...Also it would be strange because all fights, so far, have been from the point of view of the UNSC (except the Arbiter's missions in H2 but oh well)

Some call me the Michael Schumacher of Warthogs.

A more proper name would be "Halo 3: Sangheili."

Yes. I have often that that the Halo 3 campaign from the Elites' point of view would be cool.

Finally, a forum that isn't a repeat, and that actually is a really good idea.

Yes, maybe the last part of the game is trying to get on prophets ship before it jumps, but an ally gets injured, and you have to maybe carry him, but there is a time limit.

Another idea is if a friend or should i say in elite terms 'brother' is talking about making a rebellion (a bit like the one in Halo 2 )

  • 08.05.2009 4:01 PM PDT

Oh ok if it has a whole plot to it then sure I would buy it.

Well Spec ops is a bit like odst, smaller scale battles/ spying, hiding with active camo.

Assault helmets i think are the standard spec ops ones

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

sounds like a good starting idea

Lol, i didnt want to call it that incase new people came in and ask what a sangheili is, elite is the more common name, although sangheili is much cooler ;)

  • 08.05.2009 4:05 PM PDT

why are you looking at this?

i would love to fight as any covenant species during the battle of reach.

Maybe if you played as the shipmaster, id love to learn more about him, how he lost part of his mouth.

That name wouldn't work...Most people don't know how to pronounce Sangheili (pronounced san-ghey-lee) so Halo: Elite would be easier...Also Bungie have said that Reach is the last Halo game that they have in mind so i doubt this could become a reality :(

Sounds like a bunch of Justin Bieber wannabes in here. I bet you all wear skinny jeans too.

I don't think Bungie intends to make a game that involves you killing other humans.
Note how every Halo game, all you've done was kill aliens. Even in the arbiters missions, you never attack a human.

His second in command (i think) was infected by the Flood on some planet, somewhere (i forgot where) and he had to fight him. He killed the infected Elite but the Elite took off his two mandibles. Atleast that's the gist of it.

Not neccesarily the same story, but the same sort of health system, except instead of stamina, you have a shield, and then health as in Halo 1

If this happened I would have multipul orgasms, but since bungie said after odst and Reach they are done, so some internal microsoft team would do it, but they probably wouldn't mess up to bad

Yup thats pretty much what happened, reading the comics and books will do wonders.

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

It's a great idea. And it'd be fun to have something free-roam like ODST only in pre-slipspace-d Mombasa. It could have missions where covenant and humans are fighting by a building and you and a couple others could show up as reinfocements. Something like where the humans and Covenant are constantly fighting for control of different parts of the city.

Snakie Purple.

"Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog"-Hamdog.

Twatter

It would be cool. I wouldn't mind playing as a Zealot or something. (The Elite equivalent of ODSTs/Spartans, but better than both). After the schism. It we awesome, actually. Attacking the brutes in space combat, and you being on a ship boarding raid.

I would have taken that over ODST, honestly.

NEW IDEA!
What if you were an elite in the time of their rebellion, and you were a commander, but then the brutes trykill you and your squad

I used to think killing Marines would suck... but after playing Prototype, you learn that slaying hordes of Marines can actually be quite fun. And we all killed the sniper Marines in Halo 1 to get their ammo. Don't hide it.
