hm, you could keep it around 450, depending on how good the rest is. but so long as you keep it at $500 or less it will be well worth it with what you have so far.

What else do you need? A monitor and PSU for sure. PSU's aren't that expensive though. If you have a moniter already, you will keep it under $450.

Once you have it running you don't NEED a monitor but what happens if you have to restart the server or the machine goes wonky? It doesn't have to be a good one. It would probably be a good idea.

don't get a new monitor - check on a VGA switch first to see if you can switch the monitor easily from one monitor to the next.

Don't get a cheap psu - tempting, yes, but you should spend at least $40, otherwise you're really asking for it.

Start putting it together now before your warranties lapse.

HECK YES! thats a good point. get it started before warrenty ends. i think if i had gotten a suggestion that said "Voodoo, youd better get started becouse it turns into a bannanna if you dont take it out of the box with in 48 hours"
id belive it and be just fine to jump right in.

i dont have the other stuff: power supply, ect. i can get the mobo going but as far as working on the case, ishould probably wait? cords and stuff?
