what kinds of short-cuts will be made to optimize live support (i.e. try to prevent the dreaded slow-down)? case-in- point would be some games have turned off auto-aliasing etc... i would personally rather have a slightly graphically inferior multiplayer game that can hold 32 players and run smoothly than a beautiful game that only holds 12 and slows down...
...or is it not a issue of graphics but of the headset communicator and voice chat that really slows everything down?.....
anyone know how smoothly the alpha ran?
