Loose talk is noose talk.

Bungie is currently working on a new IP. Stay tuned.

My old Bungie.net account was created February 6, 2008. Unfortunately, I had signed up using my brother's email account (we then shared an Xbox Live account which was linked to my old Bungie.net account), and he changed the password, meaning I couldn't log in. Thus is why I have this account.

Reach is Bungie's last Halo game. They currently have an unknown non-Halo game in the works. 343 Industries will probably pick up on Halo games.

The last Halo game by Bungie. They're already working on an original IP, and Microsoft has an internal team, called 343 Industries, working on the future of Halo.

"What's the last thing a dead backseater ever hears from his pilot?"
"Watch this!"

I'm not even going to begin to speculate because only they know for sure, but I hope this isn't the last.

Don't be so quick to quote things in err....

Lars Bakken said in London that it would be Bungie's last Halo game for the 360, not their last Halo game ever.

I'm sure Bungie would love to branch off and create something new and fresh like they did with the Halo series; that's why they're working on a new IP. They're a very diverse and talented company - look at the games they've come out with to-date. First-person, third-person, and RTS. I'm looking forward to Bungie's newborn creation, but the Halo series will always be dear to my heart and playable for years to come!

In my opinion, Halo:Reach will be the last Halo game we see from Bungie for the 360, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them dust off the Mark VI for a Halo on the next gen consoles.

This may not be bungie's last game in the halo univeerse. They said there working on a third game (Aside from ODST and Reach) They just haven;t confirmed exactly if it is halo or not. But wait and see, But it's still possible there could be another halo game.

  • 08.06.2009 1:23 AM PDT

No wait yeah, it is the last halo game in the franchise. Sorry, I didn't notice. But I corrected myself.

  • 08.06.2009 1:27 AM PDT

Bungie originally said that Halo 3 was their last halo game but now ODST appeared and bungie said that that would be their last halo game. Then Halo: Reach appeared so I think that they will make more Halo games after this. The only thing i'm annoyed about is the rights to Halo being given to some anime company instead of giving them to a company who could make a live action series which would be so much better.

There are already way too many threads on this topic. Can't you wait another couple of years to find out?

Of course Bungie is unpredictable and there's no saying if Reach will be the last game or not.

End Thread.

No no no, bungie said it was the last game in the trilogy not there last halo game. They made ODST because it is still Halo 3 just showing more to it. So there not gonna make an entirely new halo game in that trilogy. ODST was an expansion. Halo reach, isn't in the trilogy it's before so thats why there making that. And no, they confirmed it's there last halo game in the franchise but they are making a new domain, they just have to find a publisher. And i's not being given to only one anime company it's being given to several I'm gonna hate it too. But it;s too entertain people, so might a well try to watch it. And they can't even finish the halo movie, why are they going to work on far more live action things, when they can't even finish the live action movie? It might not be the last HALO game but it is BUNGIE'S last halo game.

Quoted for being moronic.

All sorts of people made the same kind of post you just made after Halo 3 came out. Many fans made threads about a "Halo 4" and people with your caliber of intelligence started trolling and calling people "idiots" for even bringing up the notion.

I suggest you take some philosophy classes to learn that nothing is impossible. And at that, hardly anything is outside the norm (or in this case, the probable.)

Well, maybe the OP said I heard that reach was the last bungie game but I think we all know what he meant.

I think (and there is no doubt in my mind) that Bungie will pick up the Halo Franchise again once the next gen consoles come out.

You can't put any emphasis or base any facts on Bungie saying Reach will be their last Halo title. They love to surprise their fans, and I'm sure they'll do so multiple times in the future!

I'm not calling anyone "idiots" I think everyone has different opinions and I'm just stating my mind, bungie never said Halo 3 was the last game, they said it's the last in the trilogy of master chief. You can be just as right as anyone, I'm just telling the truth though lol. And I never said it was the end of halo GAMES I said it was the end of bungie making halo, because they have confirmed that Reach is the last in the franchise, but that doesn't mean it's the last one from other companies. But your right, every little thing is possible and maybe just maybe they will make another. But it's highly illogical since they already confirmed everything.
