Ever wondered how the Bungie Pro Render to Video service compares to a common capture card, such as the DVC 100? No? Well with this video, you no longer need to!

I recorded a small film clip of a Warthog chase, rendered it with RTV (both SD and HD) and finally captured it the traditional way, using a Dazzle DVC 100. I then did some clever stuff so that you can view parts of all 3 videos simultaneously. Check it out:

Things to note:
- The HD version is far superior.
- The recording from the capture card has a bit more detail than the SD render.
- The rendered videos have a HUD, which I had the option to remove with the capture card.
- The capture card recording also appears to be a slightly different colour. However, most videos have colour correction applied during the editing stages, so this isn't too much of an issue.
- Since the SD render is only 640*360, YouTube may compress it slightly. However, the end result is quite similar to the original video file.
