I have seen and heard rumors going around that the Natal may be used in Halo Reach, for those who don't know the Natal is microsoft's new motion sensing interface.

My thoughts

From what I have seen of it it looks pretty cool, but I don't think it has a place in Halo. If they absolutely have to put it in there, then can they at least make it an option to use for campaign only, but not required or allowed in multiplayer?

Maybe as an opinion? You can toggle it, just like you can toggle control setups.

Check Out my FileShare.
I was once on Bungie Faves. (Feb.7-15)
I'd like to know why I can't see the signatures of others of myself on the forum. I have made favs once, 7777 campaign kills, and I helped bring modders down when they were at their strongest

Remember that scan the picture or item feature? Imagine that in Forge

How would it be used?

About me: I am a vicious wolf of a man.

But really am sweet at heart. =)

No. Motion control only works in mini games.

What am I gonna be reloading an imaginary gun? Will I strafe across my living room? Will I crouch behind my couch?

I'm thinking that utilizing natal in a game with big expectations is suicide. What they need to do is come out with smaller fps games (whether it be a demo, minigames, etc) to show that it will work (and work flawlessly). If it does work, and i don't see how (but that's just my opinion), they should definitely make it an option.
There are just way too many buttons to take into consideration... i just don't see how you can switch weapons with the wave of a hand. Plus, i'd say majority of gamers don't want to be hopping around, pointing at the screen... it's a stinkin game! if you want to make an fps game have natal, change the name of the product from "game" to "simulator".

Conclusion: NO!

Check out my file share for cool maps

well I think you should only be able to use the natal in custome games because if you go online with it there will be so many perverts making you know what motions. You also shouldn't be able to take screenshots with the natal enabled.... if the natal is usable, but I dont think its possible. Unless bungie or microsoft make a gun that you can hold like wii, who agrees?

Imagine the complaining from those that already complain about Videogame violence..... It's bad enough now, but if you are actually using your own body to reload, shoot, melee, and other actions, man, they could could say you are just one step from real murder...... And it's an FPS and controllers work better IMO.

Now that you mention it, I think it would be really nice for forge, but I stand that it will ruin the normal gameplay
