hey guys im having some trouble playing halo2 online and its bugging me. ive tried everything i know so far and nothing works. Every time i try and click on xbox live in the halo2 main screen it tell me there is a problem with my connection. but there is no connection problem when i start the troubleshooter. I did the automatic update when i first put the disc in. Will it not let u play halo2 online if u have a strict NAT setting?

Thanks

This is very common. You need to clear your cache and delete any map H2 packs (if you got that far). See Dr WE1RD's sticky for clearing your cache. Also, if you downloaded maps from a disk, get rid of those. Basically start over and download maps online.

Sounds like a problem with your account. Did you get a 1 month account? There's problems associated with that.

So it says 'Gold' on your 360, right.

There's also been problems for people who have a 360 but switched the HDD. It's called 'Transfering Content Licenses'. I have a link for that if you've switched out a HDD.

Did you get your 1 month first (before the yearly) or did you have a yearly that was about to run out and you got the 1 month? If you just recently got the 1 month there's a solution but you will not like it.

Right, but did you get the 1 month after your yearly? What happens is if you have a yearly and then add a 1 month, the 1 month will override the yearly. MS cannot seem to have 2 current accounts to the same IP address.

Read This

The link is an MS forum that discusses the 1 month override. I'm not saying this is your problem but it's worth reading all the posts in the link (especially the 3rd post).
