I loved Colonnade. I was the guy with the shotgun/mauler/grenades in the center strategically camping :)

I hope the tweaks have helped this map. I actually know this map better than Rat's Nest and got an Extermination during Bungie vs. World.

Here's a couple of pros and cons.

Pros:
-Multiple routes between bases.
-Symmetricality works for this map.
-Various weapons on the map.
-Vehicles have enough room to move around.

Cons:
- Snipers are hard to spot and can kill you easily.
- The Ghost keeps you pinned down in your base with no way to overcome it.
- Mancannon doesn't always work.

Other than these cons, it is a great map. I started to get tired of it because of the heavy weighting on it. But since Bungie plans on keeping this in a reduced weighting, the map wil be more enjoyable as it will not show up 3 times in a row (Hopefully).

It was to easy. It was terrible, The Bungie day maps were excellently made. Just they wern't thought through enough to actual gameplay for new players. Some maps left you like WTF how the hell do i get out of this room.

I called this map "Colon Nade" because it looks like someone stuck a grenade up someone's colon and poo went flying everywhere. Then the creator said "Oh, look - a map."

I really like this map in the BvW playlist. I just hated how much it showed up. No offense in any way on that. I just wanted to try out all of the other maps as well. The only thing I hated was the center structure. I was not able to go through it easily due to me being on a sensitivity of two. It took to long to turn. I would start to turn after the first slit and then be running into a wall and be running along side it until I fully turned, only to have to turn again to get out.

I loved this map, you could get like 15 sticks in one game on it. The most sticks I got on that map was at least 12

But that's what it looks like. Or maybe it just started to appear that way as a result of it's appearing so much. Either way, I was sick of it, both literally and figuratively. (Poop is pretty gross)

Anybody want a peanut?

This map blew sooooo hard in the BvTW playlist. I nearly cried every time I had to play it. The spawns were horrific, and the Ghost was overpowered. Even Brigs and Generals were having some difficulty beating 12-year-olds because the spawns were so bad. I literally had people spawn directly behind me and assassinate me after I killed them. Multiple times. That, plus the fact that everyone just got stuck in the center structure or fell off the outer walkways made me want to quit nearly every match. I HAAAATTEEEE this map so damn much.

I'm horrified to see this worthless crap on the Bungie Blog. *spits on ground*

I enjoyed reading what design choices Kapura implemented into Colonade. They really helped to suck all enjoyability out of Multi-Flag. I especially love how the areas of upper elevation that dominate the map go hand in hand with the super campable middle and bases.

Remember though, if you don't like Kapura's maps you have poor taste, or so his xbox live bio says...

Awsome map, its good to see other foundry variants getting featured as well as sandbox ones :-)
