In ODST we will be seeing the return of the health pack. Good? Bad? I would like to know what everybody thinks of them. I think it will add to the 'regular ODST' feel to the game as Spartans don't really need them. The only problem I can see is that it will get really anoying running around trying to find them.

Brings me back to H:CE. I hope they do it again in Reach.

it wasn't a problem in Halo: CE, so it won't be a problem now...

Halo: CE worked a tad differently, though. You had a lot more shields, so you health wasn't getting hit as much. In ODST, there is very little, and the health packs will be a large part of keeping your health because that is your main health, as opposed to Halo: CE where your shields were most of your life and health played a smaller part.

ya know, im proud to be an inverted player, its like we're a rare breed or something

Do NOT send me Recruitment Letters, doing so will get you blocked faster than you can say "Huh?"

I think they will make players think a bit more. Your likely to be more cautious when you have to actually worry about running out of health.

It will be a change of pace.

Is it just going to be those health stations we've seen in the videos or are there actually going to be health packs lying around like a box with a red cross on or something.

i watched a video of firefight and the guy took a very large beating before his "stamina" gave out

it looked just as powerful as the halo CE shield

I would guess they would because all Spartans would have Mark V armor at that time.
Only the Mark VI variants had the auto biofoam dispenser in them.

I like it. I'm playing Assault on the Control Room in Halo CE on legendary to practice for ODST. I feel like I've accomplished something when I get to the next checkpoint with full health and without using a health pack.

One things for certain, its going to make the speculated vidmaster: classic achievement a pain in the arse.(Finish a mission without fireing a gun or throwing a grenade, on legendary, solo)

Just be thankful that the Iron skull doesn't have to be on. That'd be really hard.

I think it makes the game a lot more tactical, and makes it funner.

I thought iron only effected cooperative gameplay considering you will have to go back to the last checkpoint if you die playing solo anyway.

"When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give EL1TE SUPR3MACY lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

I hope health packs aren't too hard to find. I don't want to spend most of my time looking throughout New Mombasa for First-Aid.

I think that they have two options for health. Health packs strewn about the city and health kiosks set up where the super will gladly kiss you booboos.

The VISR should make it easy.
