I think it would be realy cool if there were some destructible buildings but just some instead of everything being completly destructible like red faction guerrilla cus that would deffinatly not work out with a halo game

A soldiers sacrifice is never forgotten

I dont think so, it wouldent take away the feel of halo, it'd be too much like a battlefield game where theres never any cover, it just wouldent work. IMO

Isn't better with punctuation?

And yes, destructible environments would be nice.

the only way they could pull off destructible environments is if they made only like 1 or possibly 2 massive buildings on the map that are completely destroyable

I still say thats way to much like battlefield, it just wouldent work in halo, with constant granades and rockets it would be to hectic and i dont think the halo engine even supports this.

We're talking about Reach. Very possible that its a different engine.

Destructible cover would be nice. Not buildings. Maybe the outsides of walls etc.

Well, depending on what kind of game it is, it could work.

*Smacks his forehead* Why does it have to be like Battlefield? Is Battlefield the only thing that has destructable environments?

Why can't it be compared to, I dunno, real life? You know, where you put a tank shell through a building and it explodes?

"Let The World Be My Witness"

This is the last Halo game from Bungie. I think it will be best if features like the ones you describe are taken into account, some realism wouldn't hurt, anything to make the game amazing.

True, they do have the Reach Around AAA engine.

But still, I don't think it would be possible to match the scale of destruction that DICE has with their Frostbite engine.

A soldiers sacrifice is never forgotten

Why doesent anybody understand that Halo is not like other games nor is it like Real Life.

If halo was realistic, it would be another FPS just like the rest of them.

I can Gaurentee you that halo : Reach WILL NOT take a realistic turn. why? because it would be like all the rest, and thats not what Halo is, Halo is a unique shooter that has raised the bar for all other shooters if it took a realistic turn then people would not play it anymore.

Halo is so popular because of the fact that it isnt like the rest.
