Before you wildly yell "NO!" at your monitor hoping I will hear you, consider this:

It was previously stated that "there are no Elites to fight in Halo 3: ODST." Let me re-tell that.

There are no Elites to fight in ODST. This means we could see them, possibly in a cinematic, but we may also see corpses or traces of Elites scattered around the city.

What say you?

I think that they will appear in game. Maby even as an ally killing some brutes. It would be intreasting to see how the ODST begin to find out about the Brute VS Elite war.

Ok I actually applaud you. I would like to see at least some corpse or Elite technology (Blue Plasma Rifle to use, a Plasma Sword just for decoration not for use since I believe Forge is the only Human so far to wield one) I think Bungie should at least acknowledge that they were there rather then just wipe them completely out of New Mombasa.

No to having them as allies or seeing them alive in game. They aren't there anymore and it makes no sense to have them as allies at this point. That's just dumb.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet, Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the organizer, Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier, Who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag

prehaps...

Agreed. Actually having live Elites in-game would mess up the story of the Halo trilogy.

If we get to see any Elites though, I hope it's Halfjaw. Obviously, he couldn't be a corpse though.

To be honest, even though the article says all elites were moved off-world, I garentee that an ops team or two would still operating on earth. Why? because the elites already were questioning thier trust in the prophets.
