Random generators could be set up for each map. Only snow maps should have randomly generated snow, but could still have a ToD generator. That way you can start a map at night with it snowing one time, then the next time you could start the same map in the morning with light flurries...
Everyone understanding the ToD generator now?
Having wind make us randomly less accurate would be a horrible idea for gameplay. Realistic or not, that would be so dumb.[Edited on 08.10.2009 9:18 AM PDT]

I like the idea of a thunderstorm starting and the map gets extremely dark. Perhaps when a thunderstorm starts you can have large hail falling that could potentially kill you? I don't know about my above theory but...Good thread OP!

Bullet shifting was ruled out. However I think the other effects could work. These were just ideas of how they could effect gameplay. Aesthetics could certainly be the only effect however.
