You face an opponent who has never known defeat, who laughs in foreign tongues at your efforts to survive. This is Reply suicide.

I would rather play Firefight than any other matchmaking in any other game.
In my personal experience, modes like Horde and Firefight quickly show who is the better player, and on a more consistant basis.
AI can't be intimidated. AI has infinite respawns and death doesn't count against AI. AI doesn't have ammo restrictions. AI works together better than most human teams do.
Plus, the best part about game modes like Firefight and Horde and Zombies...
The enemy can't trash talk you, people rarely get so upset that they freak out on you, and trying again isn't that much of a hassle. Not to mention, they typically aren't ranked, so there's no problem if you lose and you only play for fun, since there's nothing to gain by winning.
Besides, you always have more fun camping and holding a position, rather than trying to dig someone out of their position. This is why the winning teams are always the ones who camp an area the most, and the losing teams are always the ones trying to dig them out.
Horde and Firefight lets EVERYONE be on the team who is dug in and firing from a superior position, instead of just slamming corpse upon corpse against defenses, just trying to get in.
