klurejr:
the green on dark green interface is terrible. you can hardly read the titles, none the less the actual posts.
Some of us like that terrible scheme better, one reason for which is described by Templar. Jay finds the lower contrast easier to look at. It's too bad there aren't high- and low-contrast options for all popular browsers...

Templar Zealot:
I have Mozilla and thats what I see. Mozilla is like Netscape I think. Looking at black text/white background is bad for your eyes. I sugest a dark background with lighter text.
From what Jay hears, NS is based on Mozilla. That's probably why you can see everything Jay can. Jay also prefers... Wortwortwort! Je prefere... light text on dark bg as well. White on black and standard black on white for those who prefer higher contrast, and pairs of similar soft colours for the low-contrast people should cover it. For example, 808000 for text and 404000 for bg.

It might be the other way around (mozilla based off of netscape), because mozilla isn't as well known or popular.

Wortwortwort! Jay could look them up and see which has been around for longer. Something doesn't have to be original to be popular; look at all the similar "reality" TV series that're on...

D'oh! Jay looked about for a while, then finally thought to click the little "about" selection under the help menu...Netscape 7.1
