good idea that would be cool

Big Team Battle Multiflag/Slayer on Standoff/Valhalla/Sandtrap/Avalanche = Win

You cannot jump with two swords, and yourslower, but you could use your two swords to create a shield, and it takes like three seconds to switch from attack mode to defence mode. You still attack with the right hand sword, and its pretty much the same range/lunge speed as one sword.

Y/N??

Dual wielding is for idiots, not the open fly.

How about a Natal dual sword fighting game for Natal on the XBLA? Hmm....

Maybe changing halo's name to Halo Creed

and adding a cloak to masterchiefs huge head, would help make dual swords work ;D

other than that randomism, nah stick with 1, and stay away from john woo films

Vancouver BC, Canada.

No. it's fine just wielding 1.

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

2 would be great. You could use one to parry and the other to strike.

Overkill?

One does not simply walk into Halo.

The only possible way dual swords could be used, would be that the user is slower than normal. The way that I picture 2 swords, is that the user thrusts both swords into the enemy's body, instantly killing the enemy, and as long they're still wedged in the body, the swords will allow the body to be used as a shield from bullets or plasma for a few seconds, then the swords need to be removed to be of further use and while outside of the corpse, they cannot be used right away. The other disadvantage to the shield would be that they are unable to attack anybody while the swords are impaling the dead body.

This wouldn't work.

it would be sweet to use 2 swords even though they pretty much kill in 1 hit but if you had mutipule enimies it would make sence.

If they are going to do it then at least make a Dual ended sword like Darth Maul's lightsaber in star wars.

Iam enjoying Halo Reach and revisiting some past Bungie games, iam a big fan of Bungie and their online community.

Why do people want to duel weild swords there is no real point considering its a one hit kill weapon.

A one hit kill isn't good enough for you?

this is worse than the time in the guy in the H3 forum asked if elites should be able to duel wield rockets.

C-C-C-Combo Breaker!

No no no, you're doing it all wrong, you're supposed to shout C-C-C-Combo Breaker! after someone breaks the combo, you aren't supposed to break it yourself!

  • 08.09.2009 8:57 AM PDT

Look at your game, now back at Reach. Now look at your game, now PLAY REACH!

Argh... It would be impossible to wield two swords correctly, you couldn't melee attack them both, or else one would be dropped, and the other attack is too slow... So... I wouldn't think so, unless a Project Natal Minigame...

  • 08.09.2009 9:04 AM PDT

Never work. You can only aim at one person at a time anyway. By the time you can lock onto a second guy, your first sword can already lunge again.

Pointless.

  • 08.09.2009 10:16 AM PDT

i was thinking something more along the lines of this

ok in the game at the moment the sword is always active so my idea is to make it unactivated but it looks like theres two swords (so you could see it) then when you pick it up, you have two energy swords and they have a bit longer dash but at the cost that your character takes longer to lob grenades becuse he deactivates his sword grabs the nade and then lobs it.

if you make the dual weild toggled it could look epic foor machinimas
