my friends internet is 35.5kbs...sucks i no but he is unable to get cable and we realy wanted to play agains each other. i was at his house and we decide to try to get online and it did. and did not lag AT ALL maby once in a great while lagged...

i dont get it....explain i though it was only 56 k

You may not have been experiencing lag for 2 reasons. The first is that the server had a really good connection, the second is that you didn't lag and everyone else in the server did.

Im guessing that was a LAN network, maybe, if it was just the two of you alone. Not sure, but perhaps LAN doesnt lag as much as online play does.

If it was online, then Im going with what Chewy said.

Sounds like a LAN to me - virtually no lag.

Otherwise, 56K [about what you're friend had] doesn't ALWAYS mean high ping. If you have an ISP that uses accelerator servers or the server you connected to is close by, there'd be little lag - or everyone else would be lagging.

it could be LAN - it could be CE delagged - it could be an ultra-low latency, low bandwidth connection....

But you probably just lagged the server if you were online.
