]So wait, you think that equipment that ultimately helps the better players is for scrubs?
Are you slow?
Casual players, (players who don't play as much) have a lower chance of knowing where the equipment spawns. They have less of a chance of knowing how to use it. They have less of a chance to know how to use it.
If you don't use the equipment, I would say you should look in the mirror, you might just see a "Scrub".
How hard is it to accidentally run over a bubble sheild, and press X when you're about to die, negating a legitimate kill for the better player? I'll admit, I use equipment when I have it, but it's because I put myself in a bad position, and it is an out. IMO, people shouldn't be allowed to have a get out of trouble free button. It makes no sense that someone who works for a kill should be denied that at the press of a button. What advantages does the attacker have in that situation? Skill is not a physical entity, it won't make you run faster or shoot stronger bullets.
Oh wait, Colonel Grade 2 with a negative K/D. That explains it...Kid with no-life would bring a rank from a video game into this.
A good player knows to carry around a close range weapon and a far range weapon. The "scrub" who throws out a bubble shield would be screwed if you just went over there with a mauler, sword, AR, shotgun, gravity hammer, plasma pistol, plasma rifle or even a sniper! Regen is the same thing.
Also, if you were good, you wouldn't care about 1 kill that you didn't get because of equipment. Also, you admitted you use equipment, because you put yourself into a bad position! If you were good, you wouldn't put yourself in a bad situation.
P.S. Before you go criticizing me on my kill to death ratio, you better learn your math. I do not have a "negative" kill to death ratio. It is impossible to have a "negative" kill to death ratio, unless I have never gotten any kills.
You tool.
No offense, but people like this are the reason why level 47-50 is a complete joke and just about everyone at that level is just as "good" as you can get at Halo 3. Let's just assume for a second that you're not trying to pat yourself on the back and look cool in a forum by telling people they have no life. Wouldn't you think someone that plays Halo all day would have a far better understanding of the game than you do?
I don't get how all the casual players get to be experts on gameplay mechanics yet they still have such super busy lives outside of Halo. The game has been out for two years and IMO there is probably about 1000 to 4000 people or so that really play this game enough at a high enough level to have the right to critique it. Bungie really needs to stop listening to people like this guy and make Halo Reach like trickle down economics, give everything to the people at the top and let people who think 3 games a day means you have no life continue to be oblivious to whats really going on.
Why do the people who constantly tell others they have no life and play Halo too much the ones who get the game designed to their tastes? Halo is in danger of turning out to be just like everything else that's really cool when it starts and then gets worse as more and more people jump on the bandwagon because they think that's the cool place to be.
I bet this guy probably plays a lot of Madden. Bungie please start making games for nerds again and not guys like this... of course he would think bubble shields are an integral part of Halo gameplay if he thinks 3 games a day is a lot.
