I'd like to know why I can't see the signatures of others of myself on the forum. I have made favs once, 7777 campaign kills, and I helped bring modders down when they were at their strongest

Small thing but really cool none the less. When ever a flashback starts (as in the case of Dutch and Romeo) there are small sequences where the ODST does something with his weapon. For example in the Vidoc you see Romeo look down at his rifle while it is upside down. In the this Video you see Dutch taking cover behind something and you see his Spartan Laser.

I think it's really cool and I know it's gonna get me pumped when I do each flashback.

I think I know what you're talking about. From what I gather they're small scripted sequences where you don't have control of the camera or your movement, you just sit back and watch. Kind of like a cinematic, but at the same time not. The only game I can think of off the top of my head to compare it to would have to be Call of Duty 4, the sequence during the first mission where an explosion went off and the camera would go all over the place to give the impression you just got knocked back, and you didn't have control until Cpt. Price pulled you back up. It's just a few seconds at the beginning of the flashback where the developers either wanted you to see something, or wanted to add a little transition from the cinematic into game play. I'm pretty sure thats what you are seeing.

That's what I was thinking and you're right, I remember reading a while back that someone from Bungie said in an interview that they could learn alot from Infinity Ward about how to make a game cinematic.

Your friendly and eccentric Sangheili forum-poster. :)

Yep. Living playable characters FTW. Master Chief just always seemed so stiff, hardly ever moved.
