I go around the world leaving a path of destruction in my wake. When I come to a city, grown men cry and women wail. I collect the skulls of my enemies and display them for all to see.........I also kick puppies. For fun.

I remember at one point in a Weekly Update, Frankie mentioned something about the Covenant Carbine releasing some sort of shell or something after each shot. And it has a scope so I would guess it is either a very quick projectial weapon that must fire shells or prejectials much faster and smaller than the Needler.

I have no idea. I just got it from two different places. The FAQ calls it an energy weapon. OXM and Frankie have both stated it has ejecting bullet champers.

Maybe somehow they contain the energy in a bullet champer. Or if the needler is considered an energy weapon, then maybe its the same technology.

I did not say plasma. I said energy. That doesn't necessarily mean plasma.

I dont know but OXM said it fired cases out when you fired and Bungie said it was a energy rifle so maybe a best of both worlds?

why is no one saying something along the lines of a rail gun?

using energy of some type and magetics to charge a projectile..

also the bonus of a rail gun is that it can be fired in a vaccum.. ^^

rail guns work by accelerating a projectile withj magnetics.. so yea thats how it works.. just think of a lot of electromagetics pulling a bullet. no powder no gas very little noise.. but idk

Well, I think he might be right about the railgun. Imagine if it worked like Perfect Dark's FarSight that would be nice.
