If youve ever played call of duty, you know what im talkin about. In the single player missions, dont you think it would be cool to never have the same battle twice, the routes are different, but the goal stays the same. what do you guys think?

I really wouldnt like it to be scripted, but Bungie will do whatever they think is best, and that will be fine with me.

that would suck if it was like the Halo(1) where they scrapped sumtin togetherin the last year or so

Or they could place random nuber's of opponents. So one place might be a walk thru the park one time the next time it like Hell just froze over. You would never know. Of course there would be specific units. As in a set number of minamun units that must be there. And then the game could add more to that total to make it quite replayable.

Scripting is a bad thing. So is total randomness.

thats completely true, maybe if they have some guidelines to certain areas so it doesnt go completely random....
or another idea
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
search parties and or timing of units........
like the enemies progress in their destuction so if ur an hour later than before, there are some more powerful units instead....say......search parties. so if u pace through the game it is more even from beginning to end than rushing(easy in beginning middle and uber hard at end)

I want a good mix of the two where I think I know what's going to happen then WHAM something new pops up. It's like in Halo 1 the game never is the exactly same whereas other games script EVERYTHING like RtCW had.

The A.I. make up your overall experience. Depending on how you alert your enemies, it'll either be a pain-in-the-ass or a breeze to creep through.

Oh you mean no more stalking Elites and taking em out before they know whats happened. I hope the AI will recognise bodies. So they dont walk over thier buddies body and just keep on thier patrol route. You thik an Elite knock out would scare a grunt enought for him to walk the whole bloody complex up. I hope this is no more levels like Attack on the control room. Sheesh I clean half of that level out without firting a shot.
