I find it quite funny that you thought of this, because I was thinking of something along the same lines, Spartan III's, guerilla campaign, old UNSC base, multiple ending, although the only problem is, would it fit in with the Halo series, would it still have along the same feel? You know what'd be cool, everytime you have a high profile attack or high- profile ambush or anything along those lines, there would be more covenant convoys travelling bout, because some games you get a convoy mission, what about random ones, and if you can send out an ally to scout and get bak for high- profile targets.
If an ally is in need of help, there would be an old pelican there or some mode of transport to get him, although you can't go too far away unless you find more Spartans etc.
I was also thinking of the weapon modifying too. And also cleaning your weapon, like in Bioshock picklocking you get the tubes and pieces, being able to see inside your weapon. Also you get the SMG's from ODSt and your version you get is a Mark I Prototype. And also two words! TROOP HOG! Sorry but I love it. Imagine being able to plot convoys and estimated time of arrivals, then setting up an ambush points using Missile pods, rocket launchers, stealth systems and the likes. Also the Rampant AI gives you schematics to a Lab/ Foundry area and you plan your way in and using SPI stealth system sneaking up and immobilising gaurds.
Pretty good eh? Some of that I got from you though lol. We should make a company and make the game lol. It shallz b colld ozzum comp4ny, 4nd 1t sh4allz b 5o...lol
