I would very much like to see a Halo flight sim of sorts. It would have to follow the stories of Captain Keyes and Admiral Whitcomb, and Admiral Cole, and you would get to fly Capital ships and Longswords and stuff. At the beggining of each mission you wuld be able to plan the tactics of your fleet, and you when you pilot a captial ship, the gameplay would take on a sort of RTS feel to it due to a special interface that would control things like weapons and such. The only problem is that the odds are tipped in the Covenants favour in most battles, so the alien AI would have to be dumbed down quite a bit to even the playing field. And just for good measure, I'd throw in a few Covenant missions. All in all, I think it would rule. I would buy it, wouldnt you?

A. I AM a honkey
B. Halo is diffrent then wing commander and such, thoose games sucked
C. My game would focus on the times in space where humans actually DID win(ex. Coles last stand, Flight of the Iroqouis) and some where the mission objective would be to merely survive. The alien AI would probably be acceptably bad, and even in the missions were you just have to survive, if you use the right tactics you could win, it all depends on the player.
D. In the books, the Humans can still win if they use their techknowlodgy to the fullest (ex. Keyes Loop)

And people, I take no offense to being called a honkey... honkies rule

the Keyes Loop was a result of tactical brilliance, not technology.

I don't want to sound like one of thoose douchers, but I gotta defend whats I's says. The Keyes Loop was a tactic that showed how Human techknowledgy can be used to the fullest to stop the Covenant

P.S. I am not a doucher, I've been out of contact with the outside world, and my only means to prevent cabin fever is Halo... six days till I go home :)

I'm with RN54, I refuse to enter the poll...
1) You need to calm down, as I have said in another thread
2) it'd be a bad idea for a game
3) what RN54 and Nedus said
