So i was crusing along the forum as usual (hold on i ALWAYS give a prelude to a find) and i happen to find a link to HFCS in Recon 54's sig. and in their group i found an intersting article by Goweb if you haven't seen it already, link: Article

Anyways, it's pretty funny, I guess the mods are TRYING to get us to think that their job sucks, but I and the community are not easily tricked, I can imagine right now, they're on some private yaht in the Pacific, chilling out in the sun, kicking back and sipping on a few wine coolers...ah the good life.

No, I wouldnt want to be a mod, but I would like a mod or Bungie to at least acknowledge the thread I made asking them a question. The question doesnt seem very farfetched...

Actually, I don't think I'd wanna be a mod on bungie. Having to answer questions...go on every day to see what's going on, keeping the junk out of forums, etc. would be pretty hard. Sure, it's not too bad, but it still isn't the greatest...in my opinion...too much responsibility for me....but, that's just me...

Well there are so many people who want to be a mod only for status. However they are forgetting that it takes responsibility to be a mod. Also being a mod dosn't mean that you get special privs from Bungie or inside information or free passes to Bungie Studios. The only thing you get for being a mod is Custom Avatar, the ability to blacklist those anoying spammers, and a laundry list of user complaining about everything from getting banned for saying that Bungie sucked, to complaining for people spaming their own groups.

Yeah, they're really gonna sit around and check the forum each minute to make sure eKKo2639 hasn't posted something. You're not the center of the universe, and they have lives, y'know.

Congrats you found that article.

It's been very very old and I knew since day 1. What else is new?

ya but Shiska WORKS at Bungie, though I'm not exactly sure what he does there...

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

He's an artist, and is also Lorraine's assistant (he had a website showcasing his work, but it's been down for some time "until he has something new for people to look at"). So know you know. He moderates in his free time and during lunch breaks.

It doesn't really matter if its hard or easy. Bungie probably isn't going to have another moderator for a very long time. Sure, people might want to become one, but will that happen? I threads like this, they're completely pointless.

I'm not that active, but never dead.

Well, if want to look at some of his earlier work Ghandi 2, then you could always go here.
It's got some really good work of his, the Grunt Comic is just freaking hilarious.

I think we can all agree that the status is quite good, but overall, goweb is probably pretty darn accurate in his opinions.

The only thing I've gotten since I was a mod was a t-shirt and a little E-3 master chief figure... Other than that, we all get chewed out by small children that get banned because they are morons... Really, this is only a status job.

You should put the stickers on your suitcase and be more readily recognizable to your adoring fans.

Stickers on a suitcase would help Recon out a lot since he's all over the place almost everyday. Now anybody can stalk and ambush a moderator randomly in any airport with these handy stickers. Only 15 payments of $9.95 with $500 shipping and handling. That's right. Just call the number at the bottom of your monitor for more information!

I wish I had a sticker . . .
