This information was extracted from Wikipedia. I apologise if many of you have read this, but for those of you who haven't, I have posted it:

In a Bungie Weekly Update, Frank O'Connor said: "Hunter society is complex and we have seen but the tiniest fraction of it. There are some fundamental facts about Hunter biology that mean the combat type is just the tip of the iceberg." This means, or at least implies, that there are other kinds of Hunters that simply have yet to be seen. For example, Scarabs are powered by these worms.

Thats great information. I cant remember reading that. I guess it brings back plausiblity to the Golden and brown hunters.

Can you post up a link to the update where that is mentioned?

Bobcast is paid in MILF blind dates.

Maybe they'll show a Hunter that's not a bonded pair (no spikes on it's back indicating that the colony of Lekgolo can fit into one suit of armor)

If you would like to hear the list of the ways technologies have failed to make life easier, press 3

I remember reading somewhere that Hunters were actually one of the rarest forms of manifested Lekgolo worms...

I forget where it is, but there is a thread with proof of hunters that use the fuel rod cannon instead of the assault beam. pause the odst vidoc at 0:47 to see it

I didnt notice that. And its from one of the brown looking hunters.

I wonder if the confirmed blue hunters are the same, or if they have assault beams.

E-mail; save a stamp fire a mailman...

in halo CE there are hunter majors and then just regular hunters.... both look the same but have different names in the coding.

You are correct my dear friend, the worms perfer to part in machines rather than combat forms. They power the scarabs, the Dreadnaught it other countless covi machines, there only in combate form when its it needed. But back on topic, I would love to have stronger hunters, they weaker to me in Halo 3. i rember in halo Ce my first hunter was too much of a challange.

Sorry everyone, no new hunters. Its just the lightning and position of the hunter that it looks new but its not.

It certainly is not.

In gameplay you can see that the Hunter is standing in the shade and the colour doesn't change. Reflected blue doesn't make brown or gold.
Also in a Carnage Report for the end of an ODST Firefight match it is seen there are 2 types of Hunters and 2 types of Drones.

Maybe this means that there could be new enemies that aren't hunters, but creatures like the Scarabs. The worms could be used in many different things, not just a hunter body.

I'm hoping for something along the lines of the Locust from Halo Wars.

Link please, because so far I've only seen the carnage report with 1 type of Hunters, I still think it's lighting, just because we haven't seen them outside the ONI Alpha site level.

Die? Didn't You Know? SPARTANS NEVER DIE!!!

He says Hunter society becuase Hunters are made from a society of Lekgolo each of these societies are a Mgalekgolo but i guess they are the makers of the game and they control what happens with it. without them halo wouldn't have even exisisted now just emagine that. O_o
