Yes there will if halo 3 says its been modified then they could make some strange plot to bring it back.

Dude, they can still have DuelWielding, it was never once stated that Mark V was incapable of DuelWielding

R.I.P. Halo 2
11/9/04 - 4/15/10

- B( )B

Um, where exactly does it say that Mark V cannot track two weapons?

  • 08.09.2009 12:51 PM PDT

that sucks :( , i like duals

  • 08.09.2009 12:54 PM PDT

True, But... As you see the 5 (spartans?) Are NOT wielding a Mark V Power armor suit. So... And in Halo 1 It couldn't track a heavy machine gun turret. As you see on the far left the big guy wields one.

EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE

Yes, you are right. However, it is stated that the Mark VI allowed tracking of two weapons at once, implying that earlier models did not have such a function.

I don't see where it said it can/can't track a machine gun turret. They could be wearing other armor permutations that are compatible with the Mark V template.

Hell, the spartans in Halowars can duel wield, and they are using Mark IV, so I'm sure Mark V can do it.

And b.t.w. as you see on the picture they are NOT all wearing the same armor...

Halo Wars is selective canon. They also have shields, which Mark IV does NOT have.

1, why does time period matter? It has nothing to do with what guns you can use, etc. (or at least it shouldn't)

And this thread explains how to balance Halo 1 style weapons with dual wielding.

Also, why do you need a suit to track two guns? I can pick up 2 pistols and go at it right now if I wanted to.

Ensemble even said that was just for Gameplay purposes. It wasn't like that in cutscenes.
