Love it or hate it Halo 3 is a very popular game. Everyone that I know has at least heard of it. I've seen the population numbers as high as 300,000+ even after its been out for over a year (and shows no sign of dropping any time soon). Yeah people love it and they obviously love to hate it but everyone comes back to it eventually. I just don't see how Bungie is going to top Halo 3. Yeah, Reach could have a better story, it will have better graphics, and of course all of the Halo nation will be behind it BUT, I dont see it being as addictive as Halo 3. Then again, someone probably said this when Halo 2 was out.
Agree/Disagree?Halo: CE was THEE game for the Xbox. It was a jewel. Halo 2 comes out, and this game is so hyped and well recieved (even though it was rushed kinda). Halo 3 bashes anything, mainly because of it's multi-player.
If Reach has an amazing story and as good, or even better multi-player, then it will do better.
Many people think Halo 3 is the crappiest of all 3 halo titles, (Story-wise anyways).
I can't wait to see thier new IP, and I swear is it isn't a "New" IP, but just a rising of an old franchise, I'm going to be angry. Especially if it is ONI. I wouldn't mind Marathon. As much as some fans would love it, I think that Bungie's gonna try something new. Their name is big enough ,so why not experiment some?MSFT probably restricts that a little bit. Also, there was something in a video documentary I saw a couple days ago on Bungie, that had them say they didn't want to change how Halo is played.
With Halo, they want the same pick up an play expierence, they pick it up and say "This is Halo".
I meant the new IP thing, but yeah, I'm also slow and I'm gonna assume that MSFT is Microsoft? but either way, the new IP thing will help bungie separate themselves from Microsoft's rein
