Subject: Boycott OSTD b/c of price

Everyone should join me and boycott this 'half' game that their charging us 60 dollars for. It's bad enough how much maps costs us now this price for half a game. I don't care if people don't agree but I for one will not be buying this. 60 dollars is way to much!

  • 08.10.2009 1:50 AM PDT

Whatre you talkin about? 60 dollars aud is great!

But seriously, unless you're joking, please quit whining. Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing legal you can do about it, so you might as well get over it. If you're not going to buy the game, go ahead, but no-ones gonna think you're a hero for it. There are plenty of threads like this that have come again.

BAM, said the Lady!

I really don't get this 'half game' arguement.

Campaign + Firefight + 3 maps for the multiplayer.

Its not like the did a bad campaign either, it looks awesome.

In Soviet Russia, Xbox plays you.

No, But when I think about what you get I think it's worth the price (People in the UK get it cheaper)
Brand New Campaign with an open environment, and Firefight which will be fun and highly addictive. Plus a chance a earn Recon, I think it's worth it.

and how!

I concur. I am certainly not purchasing Halo 3: "Orbital Shock Trooper Drop" for $60.

you're not just wrong you're stupid.
PLUS MICRO$OFT DOES THE MARKETING!!!!!!!!!! NOW GTFO!!!!!!!!

the things needed for a game is 1000 GS and a story mode ODST has 1000 GS storymode and a multiplayer (firefight) wich means it fits the definition of a game so it can be the full retail price of $60 so stop complaining i mean really are you so cheap that you would pay less for a half -BLAM- game instead of a full game with more depth for just a little more money

  • 08.10.2009 1:59 AM PDT

Compare this to halo 3 it's self. ODST gives you 5 campaign levels and 3 new maps sound like half if not less than half

where did you hear this? are you DENSE?!?!?!?!?!
there is AT LEAST 8 levels not including the "HUB"

  • 08.10.2009 2:01 AM PDT

there may be a few beacons leading to five parts playing as your squadmates but there is the part when you walk around the open world as the rookie which means more campaign - also why are you mad at bungie microsoft does the pricing and marketing

If you read this, you've wasted a few seconds of your life.

The campaign has 8 levels and the open-world, 8 firefight maps, the 3 new multyplayer maps, I think that it's worth 60 dollar (40 euro for me)

  • 08.10.2009 2:05 AM PDT

In my opinion ODST isn't a full game, however I don't care about the price. If it was 200 bucks I would still pay for it. Why? Because I have a job, much unlike everyone complaining about the price.

Trolls are insecure about their own pathetic lives that they act cool behind a keyboard.
Go back to being a failure kid.

Yah, everyone go Boycott it.

I'll be the inside guy and see why it's so awesome.

who said we don't have jobs (i don't i'm still in school) - but just because he thought the game was over priced doesn't mean he doesn't have a job mabye he just doesn't like spending his money on every single videogame
