Sure, you could be heading to the Dallas MLG event to watch MTV True Life vet Tsquared play Halo 3, but we know why you're really going. It's for all that Halo 3: ODST Firefight Mode action that Bungie is publicly premiering at the event in late August, isn't it?

The asking price is a bit steep at $20 if you weren't already heading over, but hardcore Halo fans (like ourselves) wouldn't want to miss any opportunity to play ODST three weeks before its release. That being said, we've already begun fashioning a cat helmet-based holder for our collector's edition controllers, so, you know, take our advice with a grain or two of salt on this one.

Some cool philosophies from The World Ends With You (DS)

The World Ends with You........ Give up on yourself, and you give up on the world.

Only by allowing strangers in can we find new ways to be ourselves.
The World Ends with You is one of the best games on DS, buy it if you have a DS.

Go Rams and Missouri!

What do you mean, "Publicly Premiering"? They've already shown and had hands-on stations for Firefight at E3 '09 and SDCC '09.

E3 wasn't public.

But Comic Con was.
Three weeks isn't that long of a wait time.

E3 is public. You pay for a ticket and you are in. Same with all the Comic-Con events, most recently, San Diego.

E3 is only for VIPs. They still have to buy a ticket, but the VIP had to be from a company or press busines.
