Alot of forum topics are arguing about how classes might be made into halo reach.
Personally, i don't want classes, and the babies that whine and complain should shut up!
1 amazing solution has come to mind if there may be classes we should have the option to toggle them on or off. (like the veto system on MM)
What do you think?

I am not fond of classes either but I do not have any idea how they could toggle a feature that large on and off.

Armor Lock isn't overpowered. You just suck at Reach :)

Reach isn't bad, you're just a BK :)

For my gamertag, look up "Ghoulishtie"

No.

No classes in Halo, period.

I don't want classes either but if they did they should at least make it able to toggle it on or off.

NO CLASSES. Toggling wouldn't work. Some people would start with _______. Other's would have to scavenge for _______ around the map. Doesn't work.

Would be a cool idea, actually. It would work like Bad Company, where you pick up weapons, etc in campaign, but in multiplayer, the weapons come in sets, for the classes.

I used to eat Sammiches all the time, but that time is now over.
EON Sergeant
Spartan Special Ops Corporal

How about people can have classes, but it works like the Halo Veto system. If you don't want classes, hit a button, and if there's a majority that dosen't want classes , there are no classes

Here is how I would see it work:

No Classes: Same thing as Halo 3. Weapons spread around the map, weapons starts set.

Classes: Sets of weapons are either preset (default) or modified. To chose classes, you would select ''classes'' in starting weapon selection. Then, a new menu would appear, either selecting the default classes, or modifying your own.

At spawn, you simply select a class.

Basically, the classes would be composed of 2 weapons, and a piece of equipment. If you want to swap weapons with an enemy, you must take the whole set of weapons. Seeing as how everybody starts with grenades, you may pickup grenades separately (You may disable this feature)

Matchmaking: Playlists for Classes only, Playlists for Non-Classes only.

This feature would be relatively easy to implement IMO, even late in the game's production.

See it as a custom game option, nothing more.
