Why the heck is the sky ALWAYS brownish orange? New and Old Mombasa always have it.

Hey guess what!? I play CoD more than Halo, but I'm not an annoying fanboy. I love CoD more, but I like how involved the Halo Community is...

maybe because of the Fire and explosives and smoke in th air.

About five minutes after the Covenant reached Earth? Doubtfully.

They glass immediately. They wait for no one.

It doesn't seem to have it around the end of the ViDoc. Looks kinda snowy...

  • 08.10.2009 4:32 PM PDT

It's odd how the sky matches the Chief's visor color, as well.
Maybe that was intentional since back in Halo 2?

Your friendly and eccentric Sangheili forum-poster. :)

You do have a point. Wasn't it also supposed to have a storm taking place during the Rookie's search for his squad?

Ah, I didn't think about the fact that it was probably from glassing. Still, I thought glassing was more like icing it, not burning it.

Lol, its when when they take there ships Plasma cannons and then Glass the planet that's underneath them.

Oh and they weren't directly glassing, but they were digging, looking for the Ark

Your logic seems correct, but why would you freeze a planet? How not evil is that. Burn the place to hell.

Its in Africa. From all the things from Africa I have seen, ie pictures videos, it somewhat has an orangish hue in places. That and the fire and smoke.

Eh, the game takes place during the Mid day and Night, so Morning isn't likely.

Ever since I heard "WORT WORT WORT" I've been convinced the Covenant has brain damage.

I shouldn't even have to say anything about Brutes.

Thats probably residue from the Slip space rupture.

That rupture shouldn't have residue. The explosion is based of antimatter, which would cause an explosion on contact with any matter. Though it could be fallout. Or it could be ash from burned buildings.

Thing is Ashes aren't a glowy blue color.
