It be nice to see good old Halo 1 gameplaye style have its own playlists in Reach. How it would work is everything would work exactly as it did in CE for the most part, the weopon set would be the same, same value damage for all the orginal Halo CE weapons, fall damage would be turned on, dual weilding would not be allowed.... and also this weopon set would be availible in forge to mix match if you want, and fall damage and dual wielding would be possible to turn on and off too.... Imagine playing around in forge and dual weild 2 of the CE pistols LOL! well thats why dual wielding would be turned off for the Halo CE playlists... also this Playlists would revolve around a few of the classic maps remade as exact replicas in the new Reach engine: Blood Gulcth, Hang em High, and Sidewinder(maybe?)! This would be perfect for old skool CE players like me who still want that original feel and play on XBL witch was losts quite a bit in H2, but H3 seemed to come around a bit better. This playlists would have Slayer, Team Slayer, and CTF. Why Not!? There is a huge fan base that wants this to happen Bungie!

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

It BETTER be ranked.

Voilà!In view,a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity,is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.

Double EXP Weekend for Halo 3

No dual-wielding in Reach, bud. You'll be clad in Mark V Armor, which can't recognize two weapons. But Mark V Armor = Halo 1 gameplay. So just about the whole game will be like Halo CE, with minor improvements.

That said...

They should also allow ODST armor and HUD as a pre-order bonus. Same physics and such, just have it be a Spartan with an ODST skin. That would be tight.

Actually, the Spartans in Halo Wars are clad in Mark IV armour and can dual-wield. Don't cast it out too soon...

Yea just cause we didn't have it in Halo CE doesn't mean we won't have it in Reach

They also had energy shields. That shows how accurate the game actually was.

That was only for gameplay, in the cutscenes you can see that they don't have energy shields.
