"Things are never as they seem..."

I wonder how this will be. It's a shorter campaign, with more stealth options -- think it'll be easier?

It doesn't look that short anymore.

Less ammo and less damage resistance, along with a lesser movement speed and weaker weapons with more recoil, and a lot of baddies?

It sounds like a challenge.

Urghh, I'll probably do it on normal first. You miss as many things as you see in Legendary, dialogue from marines (Because they just die straight away), etc etc. Then I'll do it on Heroic. Then Legendary.

Hey, I completed Cortana solo Legendary with half the golden skulls on. How hard can it be?

The fight has been complete.... now get the cookies!

While we certainly share your enthusiasm for the return, we here at the Bungie.net community are mostly made up of snarky asses and jerks who will ridicule you for making a thread about something revealed months ago. We regret that your innocent intentions will almost certainly be replied with anger and sarcasm, and politely invite you to don your Flame-suit, because you just did the internet equivalent of jumping up the Construct lifts.

I plan to do legendary first run solo. I've learned to be stealth even in the most non stealthiest game. I will do just fine my deaths shouldn't be over 5 possibly smaller.

They add all of that with no skulls on?

Playing it first on legendary would seem like a chore to me, while playing on normal or heroic would still hold a challenge but, you can go in depth a bit more, plus its easier to go up difficultys then go down right? E.g playing legendary would give less replay, whereas i can play normal, then heroic, then when im good enough Legendary

Yup. Oh, and don't forget, there are random Covenant patrols when moving about in the city at night.

Still, a shorter game, more room to manuever, and suppressed weapons would help I think. I just did the first level on legendary solo of Halo 3.... no problems. Just had to take it slow. Which level would you say is the hardest?

Mythic's a nightmare if you're doing the Ark, however when it comes to plain Legendary, the campaign's fine if you take your time.

Due to the changes between ODST's and Spartans, I expect the game to be fairly hard, especially with the randomised patrols being able to catch you off guard, you never know, you may even get caught out by jackal snipers.

I wonder what happens if you die in the free roam sections......
