But there's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
And the Science gets done.
And you make a neat gun.
For the people who are still alive.

Sorry if this is kind of nooby. But i was wondering due to the fact that the brute plasma rifle is back, if we were still able to use the blue plasma rifle?
Edit:Also, does anyone know the difference between the 2 rifles besides the colour?

It definitely fires faster. It might also do more damage, but the faster firing rate might just make it seem that way.

I haven't seen any proof of the standard plasma rifle, but the difference between the two rifles, I believe, is that the brute version is more powerful, but overheats faster.

Yes there is, the Brute Plasma Rifle has a higher rate of fire.

And there quite likely won't be a normal Plasma Rifle for 2 reasons.
First. Brutes don't use them.
Second. The Elites have left earth.

BUT you could accidentally find one from an old combat area.

Go Rams and Missouri!

The answer is no. No Elites means no Elite Plasma Rifle. I remember seeing a video in the Bungie Blog that was an interview with somebody, and they confirmed that Energy Swords and Elite Plasma Rifles wouldn't be in the game, even from dead Elite corpses.

Ok, i'm sad that ES won't be in the game, but then again for some reason it makes you feel more like an ODST, instead of lunging like 50 ft for a kill.

Gravity Hammers are in the game, but they send you backwards when you use it. It's less effective when you are using it than it was in Halo 3. You feel like you are struggling with the weapon when using it. I'm sure in ODST, if the Elites were in the game, Bungie would decrease the sword's range by a lot, maybe just be able to use it in melee distance (no more range than a normal melee, just more power).

Your logic is flawed and your opinion is wrong!

I hope the original Plasma Rifle is still there.

Back in Halo 2, the Brute Plasma Rifle shot faster and was more powerful than the regular Plasma Rifle, but I preffered not to use the Brute Plasma Rifle because it overheated at a ridiculously fast rate.

1.Arkham Asylum, 2.Mass Effect, 3.Halo CE, 4.Mass Effect 2, 5.Halo 2, 6.Splinter Cell Double Agent, 7.Gears of War 2, 8.Medievil, 9.Oblivion, 10.Crash Team Racing

1 important thing about Halo1 and 2: There were tons of corpses with weapons next to them. It made the battlefields feel much more real and interesting than what Halo3 did.

I surely hope there will be human corpses with weapons next to them, and Elite corpses with weapons next to them. As well as Hunters, Grunts, Jackals, Drones and Brutes.

I can't believe this: "We remove stuff because we feel like it" thingy.

i thought there was because on the intell it says brute rifle is only carried on the front lines, and if your walking round streets then that isnt front lines. also, what about the grunts? never seen one using a brute plasma rifle (correct me im im wrong)

The Brute Plasma Rifle fires more rapidly but is not as powerful as the Plasma Rifle.
