Interesting. It probably is just the camera angle, but maybe not.

  • 08.12.2009 10:02 AM PDT

US Army Medic

It's normal size, the ODST next to it is actually behind it.

Nope. Hunters are normally 12 feet tall. Im sure it said that in the Halo 2 manual if not the Halo 3. But they usually look relatively small, because
A) your usually an 8 foot super soldier
and B) they are crouched behind their shield.

  • 08.12.2009 10:04 AM PDT

1:Its jumping
2: You are an ODST. Hunters are big to Chief. They are huge to a normal human. At 12 feet (min) they dwarf you.
3: Hunters are normally crouched in combat, making them look smaller. That one is upright.

I think it's just because the ODST are smaller then Spartans, making the Hunter look huge. That, and the angle.

  • 08.12.2009 10:05 AM PDT

Let's play the perspective game!

  • 08.12.2009 10:06 AM PDT

I think it's jsut an ilusion but that would be pretty damn crazy if huge hunters came out you.

Its sooooo obvious.

  • 08.12.2009 10:08 AM PDT

He is actually in the air, and it's an illusion making him appear much larger.

The hunter kind of looks more heavily armored than a normal hunter.

It's just a tricky camera angle, I'm pretty sure it's not that big.

Probably because it's not crouched, but when he does not crouch...I'm going to be a scared person....

I like Six's death, the way the scene was made makes it look like Six is in a nightmare, powerless and tired to stop the unending waves of elites before she can't carry on anymore. Like trying to wriggle free from a spiderweb you just can't do it and end up tiring yourself in panic.

The ODST 'in front' as actually behind it.
It's jumping, but because of the lighting it looks like it's standing, which makes it appear bigger.

It's regular size.

Besides that, URBAN CAMPAIGN AREA!

Thank you sir, that was an epic rendition of this topic.

and how!

It is in the air closer to the camera than the farthest ODST.

They do not have different ranks and they are the same size, ODSTs are just much smaller than Master Chief.

[And on top of that, why would being bigger be a different rank? That remark isn't thought out in the slightest]

It's not, look and the shadows on the floor in the picture. The shadow of the hunter and the shadow of the ODST "that's in front of it" are about the same. Plus the hunter is in the air so that would mean it is a little bit farther back.
