Halo Custom Edition is the answer to your prayers.

Agreed. But wouldn't it be awesome to play something like this over xbox live?

I agree with lolsandwhich. Maybe this is a little too much for one of bungie's official games. But this would still be fun!

You have no rights, play nice.

Too much? My dear man, don't say those words! Earlier, you were agreeing with your own idea, now you oppose it? This is a big deal! This could change many elements of gameplay. If you wanted to fight in space then you could, and then, all of a sudden, you wanted to fight on solid ground, drop in ODST style, or drive a pelican down. There are many possibilities. Don't give up on this idea. It's good. Veeeeeeeeeery good, as long as there is balancing of air vehicles of course.

'Utrinque Paratus' - Ready for Anything

Annihilator likes this idea, and fully supports it.

Thank you. Usually Bungie would incorporate something like this into the storyline but since this might not have anything to do with the storyline of this, it might not get in. :(

Actually, you may me wrong. The battle of Reach was also a massive Space battle to, right? If so, then we'd have a place for it. They would need pelicans to attack and drop off troops right? Bam, there ya go again.

Sir I do believe you are an idiot, of epic proportions. Not only does your comment not make sense, but you clearly are very ignorant, and your obviously not a fan of innovation. Just like 1/4 of bungie.net.

1.I am sure as hell that Halo 3 does not have the best graphic's.

2.''we dont need 2 jump. oh wait, i forgot u can jump in halo. i say nvm about that i want jumping in bcuz it is a halo exclusive and it is so unique and cool.'' Please retype this in English''

3.You start of saying you don't want something like this, and then end of saying you do. You sir have no brain, and deserve to be slapped with a sandal from the countless girls you soon will not pleasure. Feel free to swear back at me.

Cheewahwa was joking, ya jerk. He does this in threads as a joke.

I just saw a green monkey nut shot a small tan lizard(?) in a gunny sack.

I love this idea. However, since many people don't like air battles, I would suggest a central ground battlefield that would have some sort of significance. How about this:

In the middle of this huge area, there is a ground battlefield, roughly the size of Valhalla. It consists of 2 opposite bases that have entryways in a series if underground tunnels(Kinda like Rat Race from H2) that lead to one central control center. In this control center, is a singular switch that controls the one-way shield doors. Red Team wants to get to the switch, so they take a few Pelicans out, drop about 10-15 soldiers ODST style, and they move into the tunnel network. Blue team has done the same, and after a fevered CQB fight, Red team prevails and hits the switch. Meanwhile, smaller Red Team air groups attack the Blue Team air forces, and when the doors go down, they hammer in a massive strike that destroys most of Blue's air assets, essentially taking them out of the fight for the respawn period. Shield doors would remain down after the switch is hit for 45 seconds, to prevent excessive spawn camping(this is assuming that there is an area of rooms/halls behind the main hangar for spawns). The 45 second limit would allow enemy players to infiltrate the enemy base, but once they die, they can't get back in.

A setup like this would require an insane amount of communication, teamwork, and strategy. Which, for me at least, is what makes Halo fun.
